MONO ICONO GRAPHIE
1990-2025

Delphine Coindet

For three decades, Delphine Coindet has been developing a distinctive body of sculptural work, straddling the boundaries between architecture, design and the visual arts. Her practice is characterised by her inventive use of materials, the diversity of her forms and a constant focus on the scenography of her exhibitions. This monograph aims to provide, for the first time, a comprehensive overview of her career through a selection of thirty major exhibitions and nearly 270 reproductions of her works.
The publication is organised into three chapters that trace the artist’s development from the 1990s to the present day. Each section is enriched by critical and scholarly essays (by Paul Bernard and Laurence Schmidlin), as well as an in-depth interview between Delphine Coindet and Claire Fitzgerald, which facilitates a reflection on the literary, political and formal issues at the heart of her practice.
