Le livre des tables

49 artists invited to present works created during or after confinement, with the constraint of having to fit on a small table: a project highlighting intimate and domestic artistic practices through the various creations that are born on worktops, consoles or other ordinary desks.

Conceived in the interstices of the confinement linked to the health crisis of spring 2020, the exhibition La vie des tables invites artists to exhibit on a multitude of tables placed in the same space. Influenced by the exhibitions and texts produced by the American art critic Lucy R. Lippard and taking the side of supporting contemporary creation, La vie des tables is built in close collaboration with the members of the Crédac team, the members of the association and the artists with whom, for the most part, the Crédac has been collaborating for many years.
