The workshop is based on three notions present in the exhibition 24 hours in Hanoi by Thu Van Tran: transparency, dreams and stories, and the symbolism of the tortoise. Students choose an animal they feel close to or based on its symbolism in Vietnamese culture, and then cut out its silhouette from translucent coloured paper.

Small groups of pupils construct a collective fable and then tell it to the rest of the class by animating a colourful shadow theatre.
