On the occasion of World AIDS Day, in partnership with Crédac and the Festival d’Automne à Paris, the Bourse de Commerce - Pinault Collection is organizing two evenings as tributes to Derek Jarman centered around the film Blue in the auditorium of the Bourse de Commerce.

The British artist directed Blue in 1993 when he had almost lost his sight. Considered one of Derek Jarman’s masterpieces, the film shows a deep, solid blue for 74 minutes with a soundtrack composed by Simon Fisher Turner and the voices of Derek Jarman, Tilda Swinton, John Quentin and Nigel Terry.

  • BLUE - Wednesday December 1st - 7:30 pm
    First performance of the complete script of Blue read by artist Lili Reynaud Dewar and actor Yves-Noël Genod, accompanied by musician Simon Fisher Turner, French pianist David Sanson, and visual artist and musician Rainier Lericolais.

  • DEEP BLUE - Thursday December 2nd - 7:30 pm
    Live electronic and experimental performance of the film, Deep Blue, by Simon Fisher Turner with Swedish composer Klara Lewis, British cellist Lucy Railton, and pianist Steve Nieve, accompanied by a free reading of the script of Blue by Lili Kim and American artist and writer Black Sifichi
