In parallel with the regular accompanying of the retired people in the art center’s exhibitions, Nicolas Floc’h has thought throughout the year a project promoting meetings and exchanges. The malleable forms and desires have evolved to lead to the realization of sandstone sculptures on which were engraved memories, dreams, thoughts … These sculptures were fired on June 20, 2012 in a temporary paper kiln made by the artist in the courtyard of the Manufacture des Œillets, according to a singular and experimental process. They were then permanently installed in the garden of the residence.
