In the form of a performed conference, Vir Andrés Hera and Clovis Maillet will bring together part of their research on spiritual friendship. From the Middle Ages, through the Baroque period and epistolary relations, to the times of virtual friendships. Clovis and Vir Andrés will reflect on forms of friendship and affective closeness between people of the same sex, especially in religious places such as monasteries, reactivating texts, poems, sonnets, novels, myths. This performance will be engaged at the crossroads of centuries, signifiers and languages: Latin, Old French, Aztec, Spanish, Italian.
